Belinda Di Giambattista brings nearly 20 years of executive experience in the global financial sector as well as food services to her position as Founder and CEO of Choose Your Metric. Inspired by all the small business owners Belinda meets each week, she launched Choose Your Metric in the spring of 2016 to provide guidance, education, coaching and real world experience to help owners achieve success as they define it. Her experience as a small business owner combined with an equal amount of time in corporate America make her uniquely qualified to help businesses of any size make strategic decisions and focus their resources on their goals.
Before founding Choose Your Metric, Belinda co-founded Butter Beans, Inc. a company whose mission is to education children and families on the importance of choosing healthy foods to eat. The company executes this mission through offering healthy lunch programs and cooking education to schools in NYC and NJ. Belinda led the fledgling Butter Beans, Inc. to win first place in the NYU Berkley Center Business Plan Competition in May 2009, garnering support for the business that merges healthy eating and convenience for busy families. Based in New York City, Butter Beans delivers healthy meals to school-wide programs and individual students to about 5,000 students and teachers every day. In 2014, Butter Beans launched into the corporate dining space by re-opening the cafeteria in the global UNICEF NYC headquarters at the UN Plaza where they also provide catering to both UNICEF and some UN departments. Butter Beans also provides cafe and catering services to the NY Hall of Science in Queens.
Butter Beans has enjoyed spots on the Inc. 5000 lists in 2014 and 2016. Belinda sold Butter Beans in 2017 to focus on Choose Your Metric.
Belinda’s entrepreneurial spirit was fostered through work in business and product development; project management; and small business lending with BB&T Bank, Moody’s Investors Service and the consulting division of BDO Seidman. She has worked with clients in the US, Europe and Asia across industries, in a variety of capacities including business development, business plan writing and execution, new product development, project management, and senior management.
